OR:Jackson Bottom, Still missing?

Does anyone know if the Jackson Bottom letterbox in Hillsboro OR is still
missing? I know i tried it last spring to no avail, but if it has been
replaced i would like to try again.

I emailed the box owner about it in April 2002 and he assured me that it was still there at that time. Never missing, just tricky.

It was definitely missing the last time I was out there. Must've been around June because the Bald Eagles
had young in the nest. I had found it previously and went by for a look at that time. Such a pity...Funhog
